Cooking at Bonnie's Place

Cooking at Bonnie’s Place is “the place to be” for all culinary enthusiasts – both the skilled and the novice. Leave behind the high-tech age of emails, text messaging, being strapped to your cell phones and truly experience a bit of real life. Imagine being seated at a counter-height table where you actually see, smell and sink your teeth into the wonderful foods being prepared. In some classes, you will relax and watch the detailed demonstration. In the participation classes, you will actually don an apron and practice your culinary skills under the tutelage of our culinary instructors.

When Bonnie taught her first cooking class in Wichita in 1988, she wanted to share her passion for cooking, to teach people to relax and have fun in the kitchen, and to invite family and friends to the table to share a meal that would nourish both body and spirit. She has taught in many places since then, but her goal has never changed. Food is about caring and sharing—and that is reflected in her teaching style and in her life.

And now she has opened Cooking at Bonnie’s Place so that you, too, can learn how to cook like a pro and entertain your family and friends with really good food.
